DST Info Sessions, Workshops & Events

Do you have a story you want to tell?

Are you interested in the idea of co-creating a personal digital story?

Want some more information before proposing the idea to a non-profit organization or business?

I would love to talk digital storytelling with you!

Register for my 1.5-hour free info session where you will learn… more about the process of digital storytelling and begin thinking about a story you would like to tell.

All I ask in return for this first session is that you pay it forward with a random act of kindness or a donation to a local charity.

8 Week Digital Storytelling Workshop – Canmore, AB

An Evening of Digital Storytelling – In Person Event

“The shortest distance between two people is a story.” – Patti Digh

Sharing stories is an integral part of the process. So we’re getting together at artsPlace on Tuesday, October 25th for the second public digital story screening and discussion.

This evening is a chance to celebrate the digital storytellers sharing stories in the Bow Valley, to learn more about what digital storytelling is and to connect with our community. I hope you’ll join us!

The screening is free. Drinks and popcorn are available for purchase.

Introduction to Storytelling – DST Workshop

Introduction to Storytelling – DST Workshop

This interactive workshop will help participants learn to recognize the meaningful moments in their own extraordinary and routine experiences. We will explore: why stories matter; story structure and delivery; and there will also be dedicated time for self-reflection and one-on-one feedback to help participants identify important lessons embedded in their own experiences. Participants will leave with a rough outline of their story.

Ongoing Story Screenings – Virtual Event

Sharing stories is an integral part of the process. We are beginning to roll out regular Storytelling Circle events. Anyone who has co-created a digital story is invited to share their digital story. Storytellers are welcome to sign up to present their story or to participate as an audience member. Those who choose to share their digital story will be able to invite friends and family to attend as well. Click the button below to be added to one of the upcoming Storytelling Circle event. You will receive a Zoom link by email for our meeting.
