Only 9 more school days left!
And it feels like I have taken more photos at school in the last couple of weeks than I have in all my other years combined!
We were lucky enough to be invited to Westglen School‘s Pow Wow and the rain held off for the first part of it!
After that, my class learned how to create 3D objects using Tinkercad with Aaron Dublenko, the INNOVATE teacher, based out of EPSB’s Argyll Centre. I met Aaron at the ULEAD conference I attended in May this year and he ended up leaving the printer with us for a whole week. We have a lot of name plates in grade 1!
I haven’t even gotten a chance to get to the rest of the photos including portraits of our staff in their “natural environments” for our fall bulletin board display and shots from last night’s Family Night. This next image is Mayfield’s Family Night last year.
But my favourite project, has been creating our Day in the Life: Mrs. Wolfe’s Grade 1 Class slideshow to share as a social story for the Kindergarten crew coming up. The grade ones brainstormed a shotlist, tried not to smile at the camera and culled photos to tell the best story of an average day in grade one. Right…like there are ever average days!
That was all just at school!
Last week, Mav had his Spring concert for daycare. It is always an amazing lineup.
Oh, and the Wolfe Pack found out that Kane will definitely be having heart surgery in the next 3-5 months.
Just breathe…we got this.
Did I mention, there are just 9 more school days until summer? Priest Lake here we come?
