Voluntography – September 2015

This family first contacted me when we were on our way to the coast for two weeks. I appreciate their patience and perseverance. Luckily, we managed to connect the day before they were going home to Fort McMurray. Seventeen year old Rica and her family spent three months at Ronald McDonald House. They arrived on June 21st and Rica’s kidney transplant happened on the 24th.

Rica’s mom, Pinky, was her kidney donor.

A lot of time over the last three months was spent playing in the basement at RMH.

18 month old Freddie kept them focused and smiling.

Sibling love, though you can see Freddie is eyeing up the playground across the street!

Great to meet you and your family, Rica. Good luck with grade 12!
