You may recognize this lovely lady from my post, Shoestring Bourbon, last year. Bre is a good friend of mine from back in the day and I was ecstatic to be able to shoot her and Adam’s wedding a few weeks ago in Victoria. The wedding actually took place at Bre’s parent’s place near Elk Lake and many of her family members were on hand to help with the preparations, even after the power went out.
Bre’s dog, Gordo, watching to make sure everything goes smoothly.
Bre was getting ready right by the front windows and she kept glancing out, maybe in hopes of seeing Adam.
Adam making his entrance to his mom’s delight.
I love the way Adam is almost sneaking a look at Bre.
A different perspective.
The rain didn’t faze the bride and groom! Or Jana, Bre’s sister-in-law who officiated part of the ceremony.
A little congratulatory rice shower with some of the bridal party.
The sun appeared to highlight their first dance.
A moment between Bre and her grandma.
Bre’s brother’s Matt and Aaron had everyone in stitches during their speech.
Bre’s parents, Jill and Len, have been in my life for almost as long as Bre has.
One of my favourite moments.
And a great way to end. Though let me tell you…the party kept going long after I put my camera away.
Congratulations Bre and Adam! I am so happy for you and can’t wait for you to see all the photos!
