This past weekend Edmonton Motors Ltd. celebrated their 90th anniversary! Edmonton Motors is a family owned business and I happen to be married to the 4th generation and mom of two little 5th generationers.
There was a show and shine, as well as opportunities to test drive the new line up of Cadillac and Chevrolet vehicles.
Guests had access to the museum, which according to Kane we will definitely be going back to!
And there were a couple food trucks on hand.
Love this shot of Grandpa Bob, Cole and Grandma Carey.
4th and 5th generation.
I love this shot.
This was one of my favourite cars. The owner, Wilf, came up and started chatting with me while I was taking a couple of photos. Our conversation evolved into a little photoshoot with the boys in his 1932 Chevrolet.
This gentleman won an autographed Oilers jersey, which was presented to him by Matt Hendriks.
His 1964 Chev Impala was orginally purchased from Edmonton Motors. If you look on the left side above the tail lights you will see an original Edmonton Motors decal.
But even better was this decal, which is still used today. I love the way it looks like a heart has been scratched into it.
If you missed the Edmonton Motors 90th anniversary video link I highly suggest you take a look. It provides not only a background of the dealership, but also details about Edmonton’s history. So proud of my hubby.
