Sunday was Ronald McDonald House Charities 3rd annual block party and it blew last year’s party out of the water!

When chatting with Martin Dugas, RMHCNA’s CEO, he thought that they had reached their goal of having 10,000 people attend the block party. And he was telling me about even bigger plans for next year!

This was one of my first shots upon arriving and it turns out this little lady was the model for one of the caricatures on the tickets!

I met this little warrior and his family for the first time. I always find it interesting how many different ways all of our stories intertwine.

There was even a petting zoo and pony rides, but by the time I made it over there they were getting packed up.

I ran into Katana from my April Voluntography session. Her and her mom were one of the many volunteers involved.
Unfortunately, Kane fell asleep on our drive back in from camping, so he missed out again this year : ( Next year the block party is on June 26th, which I think will make it just that much easier for my little family to be there!
This is such important work that you’re doing for the RMH and for the children/families involved. It is historical to chronicle this type of event.
