Before heading to the Calgary Stampede last weekend, I pulled out a few of our staple wardrobe items to get some texture shots.
The rest of these shots were taken during our time at the rodeo. As I was reviewing them in Lightroom, each one either stood out as image that conveyed texture or I played with them a little to achieve a greater feeling of texture.

Not only was I impressed with his moves, but his chaps grabbed my attention (because of the texture!) I also like the way the dirt looks after the tractors have gone by.

And perhaps my favourite shot from the weekend. Kane and his Daddy. I played around with the sky to make the clouds stand out a bit more.

These are fantastic! I like the horse photographed from above; that’s very unique.
