This past weekend our family was down in Spokane, Washington for Bloomsday. Every year when we go down I am jealous of how far ahead their spring is compared to Edmonton’s.
It just so happened that our Project 52 assignment this week was nature or landscape photography, so I made sure to take my camera out on a walk with me (and five kids!)
This week our project 52 task master : ), Jessica Singleton, wrote, “The one defining characteristic of landscape/nature photography: They show little to no human activity or presence of any sort.”
Again, this isn’t really my preferred genre, but it reminds me of what Jessica wrote when we started shooting different genres, “I’m not asking you to like it, I’m asking you to try it.” Try it I did and I even found I kind of like it. Flowers don’t wiggle and cry!
