Paul Sadler Swimland

Today, was Daddy’s first day coming to swimming lessons at Paul Sadler Swimland, so Mom got to shoot some photos! This place does an amazing job of teaching kids to swim. Kane is a Swordy Tot, which, according to their website, “introduces children aged between four months and three years to the aquatic environment. Classes consist of fun activities that focus on water awareness, mobility and safety.” Meaning: it still has the hallmark singing and splashing that all kids swim lessons require, but they also use lots of different props to motivate kids to learn basic water skills. I highly recommend checking them out. Since starting in the middle of April, Kane is able to turn around to get into the pool and he can kick, though sporadically! He’s still not interested in blowing bubbles and, occasionally, he focuses too much on waving at the parents waiting for the next lesson. That’s my extra friendly little man!

This round of lessons finishes up at the end of June, and we’re sticking with it through the summer. Especially, since Swimland offers unlimited make-up lessons during the summer session which should work well with my teacher’s vacation schedule!
