Voluntography – May

Allora and her parents, Nathan and Brandi, have spent the last few months as residents of Ronald McDonald House Northern Alberta, and this past week they put on quite the show! Nathan and Brandi put the word out to friends and family that if they could reach their goal of raising $7500 for Allora then they would both shave their heads.

True to their word!

True to their word!

Allora, who is turning two on June 6th, was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma in March. When I met Allora, she had just come off of three weeks of chemotherapy and the treatment plan for the near future is another two rounds of chemo followed by surgery. Talk about one tough little warrior!

Allora, it was great to meet you! I look forward to seeing you again in my adventures at Ronald McDonald House. Nathan and Brandi, thank you for letting me be a part of your celebration.
