Kane, Harrison and I spent a fabulous long weekend visiting family and friends in Palm Springs. The weather was perfect, a welcome change from the snow in Alberta!
We golfed, we shopped, we spent time lounging at pools and going out for cocktails. Kane even participated in his first Easter egg hunt.

It was Kane’s first time. He loved it even though he was too little to go on any of the waterslides!
I even managed to catch up on a couple of my photo projects for Clickin Moms!
My submission for Week 15 – street photography. An adult night out at Las Casuelas for Mexican food, margaritas and dancing.
This is my submission for Week 16 – landscape and nature. Just happened to catch this rainbow from Bob and Carey’s house.
Easter morning Kane was up and rearing to go with the rest of the kids!
Happy Easter, Kane!
I love the hat I found him at Superstore, we even managed to get him to keep it on for a few photos!

Caught in the moment, but next time I’ll check for price tags before beginning the shoot!
Finally, on to the Easter egg hunt. Kaden had been waiting so patiently for everyone to get up and get to the house and have some breakfast and take some photos and make lattes and…
Daddy helped Kane get the hang of the whole process
I also set up some shots for my Me & My Kid project. I really wanted to get a photo of Kane and I walking together and where better than warm and sunny Palm Springs!
This is my submission to Clickin Moms for April, and yes, that it the remote in my left hand!
I love this shot! It perfectly captures where we are at right now. Kane is motoring all over the place, but if I want him to get to a particular destination it requires a helping hand.
Thanks for the hospitality Grandpa Bob and Grandma Carey! We love coming down to visit. Ashley, Will and Baby Cole you were missed.
