Of course, I had to document Kane’s 1st Christmas at home! This first set of photos was captured on my Nikon D700 using my new 85mm lens (I’m in love, again!)
I doctored Kane’s bib for a second use!
Kane examining Daddy’s new Christmas tree ornament. It has a photo of Daddy & Kane with the Mothership (Harrison’s Suburban which he recently sold).
Daddy showed Kane the train table he made. Santa’s got nothing on Kane’s Daddy!
The train table was a huge hit!
Kane’s favourite piece of his train set is a birthday cake that lights up and plays a song, which he loves to shake his little booty to!
I love the Christmas tree lights in this photo!
Kane’s first dump truck (he kept hiding the singing birthday cake in it!)
It was a slipper kind of day.
I wanted to make sure I was in some of the photos, so I set up my Nikon D90 on a tripod and got out my trusty remote. If this is something you want to try next Christmas, I recommend checking out How to Photograph Your Christmas Morning on Clickin Moms.
The Wolfe Pack
Probably my favourite photo of my two men.
I love that I was able to capture some of the action. In this photo Daddy was hanging his new ornament.
And here Kane and I are looking at one of his new books from Santa.
I also wanted to share with you what our Christmas looked like last year, because it really puts into perspective the idea of 1st Christmas at home.
He wan’t really in the mood for photos on Christmas Day!
Kane’s space at the Royal Alex NICU.
One of my favourite photos from the NICU. “Mom, stop taking my photo!!!”
Fast forward to Christmas 2013, I have a 13 month old who has made amazing progress this past year. Kane, I love watching you grow and learn! Here’s to another wonderful year.
This morning he was right back to the train table, wearing just his shirt from Auntie Erin.
